Jenner’s glamorous lifestyle at such a young age inspired teens, elevating her to a fashion icon in the 2010s. The era that made her a star, often referred to as the “King Kylie” phase, was defined by her blue hair, bold lipstick, and dating high-profile rappers like Tyga and Travis Scott, who seemed to inspire her edgy aesthetic. Vogue recently commented on Jenner’s abrupt style shift to a minimalist and quiet luxury approach, emphasizing the evolution of her style.
From the start of her life in the public eye, Jenner strayed from her sisters’ curated aesthetics and showed a teenage rebellious side that fans admired and found relatable. Now, followers of the Kardahsians are claiming that Jenner is entering a new era in 2024, with a style that has significantly deviated from her former signature pieces and looks. Aligning with the emerging “quiet luxury” fashion trends, Jenner has recently been photographed wearing minimalist and elegant pieces. She caught the public’s attention when she visited Paris in the Spring and wore a timeless black Bottega Veneta sleeveless cotton crepe dress with simple black pumps.
Since becoming a mother of two, Kylie Jenner’s style has significantly changed. She is leaning into wearing classic pieces and displays designer labels less than she has in the past. In an interview with Elle, Jenner described her style as “dark feminine” and mentioned how she feels more confident now than when she was having children in her early twenties.
